On the 18th of March, the American Business Council in partnership with Johnson and Johnson, Anti Counterfeit Collaboration and IPLAN held a stakeholder forum with the National Assembly on Nigeria’s Trademark Bill. One of the reasons for addressing the trademark legislation currently is the changing international trademark landscape and the underlying economic importance of trademarks to all levels of business.

Moving forward, the Council and partners will be collating comments from all interested parties which will be shared with the Bill sponsor, Senator Kashim Shettima.
