US Government – American Business Council visit Lagos Free Trade Zone

The American Business Council and the US Mission visited the Lagos Free Zone on the 30th of July which is the location for the marque Lekki Deep Sea Port project. The US Consul- General Claire Pierangelo led the delegation.
The Zone houses Kellogg’s factory, as well as the upcoming Colgate factory, and the Lekki deep seaport. Moreover, the PMC for Lekki Deep Sea Port is Louis Berger Group, another US-based company. These are prime examples of US FDI into Nigeria.
The zone is the gateway to the next frontier and it is ready to attract more investments from the United States of America to Nigeria by offering access to a 350mn strong West-African market, unparalleled infrastructure, a host of fiscal incentives, and a 360 ecosystem for business and livelihood.
