The American Business Council in partnership with WIMBIZ organized a one-day training session on the 25th of July, titled Women in Politics. The WIMBIZ WIMPol training brings together women with zeal and passion for the development sectors to discuss topical issues and learning strategies for success in the light of a rapidly changing global, economic and sociopolitical landscape. Guest speakers where Margaret Olele, CEO/Executive Secretary of the American Business Council; Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili, Senior Economic Advisor AEDPI; Hon Babajimi Benson, Member of the House of Representatives Ikorodu Federal Constituency; Emmanuel Dania, National Chairman Alliance for a New Nigeria; and Mufiat Fijabi, CEO Nigerian Women Trust Fund. The training was partly sponsored by Kortex and Huggies.
